Dear CNE Rocket Families, Today, a report was made at the high school regarding a potential threat. Our school and district staff thoroughly investigated the situation and determined that the report was not accurate. However, as the information circulated, some students expressed concerns about the safety of our school environment. We want to remind our students that if you see or hear something concerning, it is always important to immediately report it to a trusted adult or person in authority. We take every report seriously and always conduct a thorough investigation to ensure the safety of our school community. Please know that the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families remain our top priority. After a comprehensive review of this situation, we are confident that our school remains a safe and supportive environment. Thank you for your continued support.

This message is from CNE Schools. This message is being sent again with the correct dates. We hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to inform you of a significant increase in staff and student illness, which has led to the decision to close school for tomorrow, Friday, February 7th. Ensuring the health and safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Reason for Closure Several of our school buildings are experiencing high levels of illness, with nearly 50% of staff absent in some buildings and close to 20% of students out due to illness. Given these numbers, and to provide the safest learning environment possible, we believe it is in the best interest of our school community to close for the day. Return to School Classes will resume on Monday, February 10th as scheduled. We encourage families and students to take this time to rest and recover.
