Dear Parents,

Clermont Northeastern Schools  is fully committed to the safety and well-being of our students and school community. That’s why we’ve taken an important step to enhance personal safety and provide a positive learning environment for all students.

Clermont Northeastern Schools  is now using the Stay Safe. Speak Up! Student Safety Reporting System (powered by PublicSchoolWORKS). Stay Safe. Speak Up! is a comprehensive reporting tool that allows students, parents, and staff to submit safety concerns to school officials.

Concerns can be submitted in three ways:

  1. Mobile App. Download the Stay Safe. Speak Up! mobile app and enter our unique District Code to submit reports directly from your smartphone. District Code: CNE

  2. Phone. Call 1-866-547-8362 to leave a voice message or speak with a trained, live attendant. Attendants can initiate contact with various national crisis hotlines if a student needs help in dealing with a personal emergency.

  3. Online. click on the Stay Safe. Speak Up! button at the bottom of every school website to access the online form from a desktop computer or laptop.

You and your child can easily report tips on bullying, harassment, drugs, weapons, thoughts of suicide, or any other concern which may jeopardize the safety of students, employees or school property.

Every report received about our district is immediately logged into our system and our administration is notified so we can investigate and take appropriate action. And, tips can be submitted anonymously.

We will make every effort to handle and respond to every charge and complaint filed by students, parents and employees in a fair, thorough, and just manner. And, every effort will be made to protect the due process rights of all victims and all alleged perpetrators.

We’re confident that Stay Safe. Speak Up! will enhance communication, ensure a swifter response to school safety concerns, and make our district a safer place to work and learn.

ONSITE REUNIFICATION

Onsite reunification is utilized when there is a need a need to reunify students with families during the typical school day. This could be for a weather related emergency or safety issue. Onsite reunification will be used whenever it is possible to remain on campus.

Families who pick up their children will report to the CNEAA Fields just west of the campus. Staff will be on-site to give directions for parking. Once parked, families will complete a reunification card to fill out and return to staff stationed in the CNEA parking lot. Those picking up students should bring their PHOTO ID with them.

After filling out the reunification card, families should wait in their cars. When we are ready to begin the reunification process, families will be given instructions on how to proceed to each building. Families will be directed to each building

Families who pick up students at both buildings will stop at the Middle School to pick up their students before traveling to the High School.

Again, students who ride the bus or drive themselves will be dismissed normally. The practice reunification drill will only be for those families who pick up their students. Anyone who picks up their student at dismissal will be directed to the CNEAA Fields. All other entrances to the campus will be blocked.

Please watch the video below for a detailed video explaining the process. Reunification is an important part of school safety and we need your support and patience to make the process even safer.

"This guide is excellent. I say that not only as a part of the team at NaviGate but as a parent, too. It’s written in simple language, and it’s easy to follow, which is crucial in an emergency. Thanks for including us in your roster of partnerships. We’re all very proud to be a part of what you’re doing at CNE!" Emily Davis Manager, Customer Success NaviGate Prepared
