WHO DEY!

Elementary School was excited to celebrate the end of the year with a Beach Party themed Literacy Day on May 17! This was a fun day for students to relax, enjoy, and maybe learn a thing or two about literacy.

The day included:

  • WHO DEY Bengals mascot who walked around from room to room to greet students, take photos, and visit with classes. This was probably the highlight for students!

  • The Fairy Godmother came to visit grades K-2! She had a green screen to take beach-themed photos.

  • The STEAM Museum set up in the gym to provide students with several hands-on learning activities, such as stations with 3D Printing, robotics, music, and more.

  • Kona Ice was in the parking lot! This was a PBIS quarter reward.

  • Senior strut went by – we wish our seniors congratulations!

Additionally, each grade-level had their own beach-themed literacy activities, such as beach parties, glo parties, and others, like bringing in a beach towel to lay on while students read in the library!

Enjoy your summer, students! It is well earned.
