Clermont Northeastern is excited to welcome Madeleine Fortener, our new Nurse Practitioner. Madeleine will begin full-time five days a week starting on Monday, February 14th, working with Mercy Health, which is open 5 days a week, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Welcome aboard Madeleine! Be sure if you are on campus to stop by and say welcome her to the Northeastern Family.
Madeleine actually graduated from Miami University with a Communications degree, but she switched career paths to become a Registered Nurse. Upon this change, Madeleine attended Butler County Community Tech, where she earned her State Trained Nurse Aide (STNA) license, and was then accepted into Xavier University’s Master’s of Science in Nursing (MNA) Program, which she completed in 2014. She then went on to work at Christ Hospital for a number of years before accepting a position with Mercy Health as an Ambulatory Care Manager at Milford Family Medicine. During that time, Madeleine completed the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Xavier University.
Madeleine has been living in the Cincinnati area for the past 10+ years and has two children, Emerson and Cora, and a cat named Kevin.
“Fortunately for me, my husband is a professional chef and enjoys cooking for our family,” says Madeleine. “As such, my interests include eating, running, spending time outside, watching movies, and playing with my two children.”
