CNE Elementary’s 16th annual Harvest for Hunger food collection broke records! This year, students and families collected over 2,700 items that will benefit local organizations and families. Items will be shared with local food pantries, including CNE Cares, St. Louis/St. Vincent de Paul Society, and Owensville United Methodist Church.
We are incredibly impressed with each of our grade levels and the kindness shown by our families. These donations will go a long way and are appreciated by the recipients.
A big shout-out to our third grade students and families who brought in the most canned items and toiletries with almost 1,000 items! The homeroom that brought in the most items per grade level will receive a special treat. Winning classrooms are Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Stein, Mrs. Benson, Mrs. Brock, Mrs. Wood, and Mrs. Barber.
