Child Focus honored Terri Hoerth, CNE’s Food Service Director, at their Encourage the Heart Dinner. Over the years, Terri has been a key partner in providing nutritious meals for our children enrolled in the Head Start program. Throughout the pandemic, Terri played a vital role in ensuring we were able to distribute over 75 meals each week for families in the CNE area and local communities. Doing all this during COVID, a time when families depended even more heavily on school districts for meals, Terri seamlessly pivoted with the endless closings, supply chain frustrations and remote services. This only made her even more amazing! She has been a pleasure to work with and has been a vital community resource to families experiencing food insecurity.
