Dear Clermont Northeastern Families,

This afternoon Ohio Governor DeWine announced the closure of all schools through the end of the school year. Remote learning will continue. We know the Governor’s order to close schools for an even longer period of time presents a challenge for our families. Our teachers will continue to communicate with students. I want to send my sincere appreciation to all of our Clermont Northeastern  families and staff for their openness and collaborative practice since we initially closed our school buildings last month. We appreciate everyone's flexibility during this time. We also want to take a moment to thank EVERYONE who completed the remote learning survey. The feedback is currently being analyzed and instruction will be adjusted based off of the results from each building.

In the coming weeks, building principals will be reaching out and will be sending additional information regarding the process for cleaning out student lockers and/or retrieving personal items left at school. In the coming weeks plans will be outlined on how Chromebooks may be returned to school and textbooks will be collected. At this time students are to keep all items until an announcement has been made. We will follow all guidelines from the Governor and state health officials regarding safety and social distancing when making decisions about opening our buildings in limited ways so students may retrieve their personal items.

As we continue to plan for next fall, we will make adjustments following guidance from the Governor’s Office and Ohio Department of Education, but no decisions have been made. When that plan is finalized we will communicate the information to you immediately.

We are still working on the details for the commencement ceremony for the Class of 2020. The High School staff will communicate that information soon.
