Good morning CNE Parent/Guardian,
As you likely know, the State of Ohio requires various subjects and grade levels to participate in state testing every spring. These assessments were given in the following areas:
Elementary | Middle School | High School |
English (3rd - 5th Grades) | English (6th - 8th Grades) | Algebra 1 |
Math (3rd - 5th Grades) | Math (6th - 8th Grades) | ELA 2 (10th Grade English) |
5th Grade Science | Algebra 1 | Geometry |
8th Grade Science | Biology | |
American History | ||
American Government |
The results of those assessments are in, and you can access them through Progress Book, using the following steps:
Access the parent Progress Book sign-in through the CNE Website:
Go to cneschools.org
Click the dropdown menu under “Families”
Select “PROGRESS BOOK”
Select Clermont Northeastern as your school district
Log into your parent account
On the left side menu, click on “Assessment Scores”
You will see a Score and Performance Level listed for student’s End of Course Assessments. If you’re interested in seeing scores from previous grades (Middle School and Elementary), you can also click the drop-down menu and select, “Next Gen Assessment.”
The scores shown are scaled scores from the State of Ohio, and they translate to a Performance Level (with 5 being the highest). For your reference:
Performance Level 5 = Advanced
Performance Level 4 = Accomplished
Performance Level 3 = Proficient
Performance Level 2 = Basic
Performance Level 1 = Limited
Additionally:
A score of 700 is considered a “Proficient”
A student must achieve a score at least 684 on Algebra 1 and ELA 2 to meet the State minimum for demonstrating competency as part of the State of Ohio Graduation Requirements. See this link for more details.
If you have any questions about your child’s scores, please contact our schools.
