At the July 11 Board of Education meeting, the School Board unanimously voted to increase athletic fees for the 2023-24 school year. The decision to increase fees was not taken lightly. Over the past four years, the district has worked diligently to control and mitigate expenses but has seen a steady increase in costs. Athletic fees go directly to the athletic program and help offset the costs for officials, equipment, security, transportation, coach salaries, and more. The athletic program and all of the opportunities and experience it provides for CNE students are a tremendous asset to our district and community. We have a successful program that will continue to excel in competition, sportsmanship, and pride.
The updated fee schedule is below. Students participating in more than one sport per year will only be required to pay one participation fee.
Pay to Participate Fee | $150 per year |
Student Superpass | $50 per year |
Adult Superpass | $75 per year |
Family Superpass (2 adults, 4 children) | $250 per year |
We are in the process of updating handbooks, websites, and documents with this updated information. If you have already made a payment for the 2023-24 school year, someone will contact you to arrange payment for the remaining portion of the fee.
