Construction has begun on the School Based Healthcare Center(SBHC) on the campus of Clermont Northeastern Schools! Construction was originally slated to begin in the early spring but due to COVID-19 was put on hold. The project is now expected to be completed sometime in the early fall .The SBHC will be staffed by a licensed Nurse Practitioner from Mercy Health and will bring quality healthcare options to the entire community.
The new Healthcare Center will be available to meet the needs of students, families, and community members. During the school day, families will have the option to have their students (K-12) visit the SBHC through a dedicated student entrance inside the school. Community members will also be able to make appointments to the SBHC during the day and enter through a separate secure outdoor entrance. The entire project was a fundraising effort with support from Mercy Health, Clermont Northeastern Schools, and Interact for Health.
