This week we learned that CNE Graduate Nicholas Galinger (Class of 1999) was tragically killed while serving as a police officer in Chattanooga, TN. Our deepest sympathies go out to Officer Galinger’s family and fellow officers in the Chattanooga Police Department. We truly appreciate Officer Galinger’s bravery, sacrifice, and commitment to better the community. He will be missed by all those who knew him. On Friday students at the High School will participate in a moment of silence to honor Officer Galinger’s legacy and flags across the district will be lowered to half-staff.
Funeral Services will be held at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, 6474 Beechmont Ave. Cincinnati, OH (Mt. Washington) on Friday, March 1, at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH (Withamsville). Visitation will be at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church 6474 Beechmont Ave. Cincinnati, OH (Mt. Washington) on Thursday from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM.
