Esports Ohio

CNE has been happy to welcome a new program for students to the high school! The Esports program is currently beginning its second seven week season of the 2021-2022 school year; currently, the team has 21 players. This is the first year CNE has had the Esports program.

The Esports program has individual teams for each competitive game, which include Fortnite, Overwatch, Rocket League, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, and Valorant. Each team competes a different day:

  • Monday – Fortnite

  • Tuesday – Overwatch

  • Wednesday – Rocket League and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate

  • Thursday – Valorant

Teams are organized into Divisional play based on location within the state, which means the teams have the opportunity to play schools close to CNE’s size, like National Trail, and much larger schools like Milford and Kings. The top two teams for each game from each Division go on to play for the Division Title, and the winner of that title goes on to play for a chance to win the State Championship.
