We are thrilled to announce that the CNE Local School District, CNE Elementary School, and CNE Middle School, have each been honored by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce with the distinguished Momentum Award, awarded to districts and schools that demonstrate exceptional progress and outstanding improvement in student achievement. CNE Local Schools is one of only 42 districts (out of 611 in the state of Ohio), and CNE elementary and middle schools are 2 of only 311 buildings (out of 3,167 in the state of Ohio), to earn this prestigious recognition. The Momentum Award is bestowed upon districts and buildings that have notably enhanced their Performance Index by at least three points from the 2021-2022 to the 2022-2023 report card, and earned a Value-Added Progress rating of four or more stars.
This accolade is a testament to the hard work, resilience, and relentless pursuit of excellence that characterizes our students, educators, administrators, and you – our supportive Rocket families. Together, we have cultivated an environment where learning flourishes, and every student is empowered to reach their full potential. As we celebrate this remarkable achievement as a school district, we want to acknowledge the role each one of you plays in this ongoing journey of educational excellence.
