We came across the charter that established FFA at Owensville High School in 1934. CNE has a rich history in FFA and our future is incredibly bright! Next week we will posting an Ag Education position for next school year. Keep an eye out if you are interested!


Thank you to the businesses that participated in yesterday's Speed Mentoring program! We truly appreciate them sharing their time, energy and knowledge with our students. A more in-depth article about the program will be posted in the coming weeks.


Thank you to the Clermont Chamber of Commerce for organizing today's speed mentoring event for our Juniors and Seniors. Our students had an opportunity to interact with professionals from a wide range of careers. Thank you to all who participated for supporting our students!



We were happy to welcome the 8th graders to the high school this morning for a tour. The Link Crew Leaders did a fantastic job welcoming the 8th graders and showing them around.

Blessed with a Dress will be in the High School Commons on Thursday, April 7th from 8a-3p for any student interested in checking out their free prom attire! They have outfits, shoes, and accessories for both boys and girls! Students will visit the Commons with their English classes; any student who doesn't have an English class at the high school is welcome to stop by any time throughout the day.

The Clermont Northeastern Lady Rockets Softball Team is hosting a "Dinner on the Diamond" Saturday April 2nd, 2pm-530pm. On the Menu: Refreshments, Side Salad, Lasagna, Garlic Bread, and Dessert. Cost is $10, all proceeds go to the softball squad.

Today Juniors and Seniors had the opportunity to participate in a career fair sponsored by Ohio Job and Family Services. Students were able to interact with 20 employers looking to fill in-demand jobs. Thanks to the companies that participated and Mr. Thompson for organizing it!

This morning Jaelyn Perry participated in the Batavia Rotary Club's 4 Way Test Speech Contest. Jaelyn gave a wonderful speech and represented CNE incredibly well! She will be representing the Batavia Rotary at the District Level Competition at Wright State in 2 weeks.


Juniors and Seniors had the opportunity to attend the Junior Achievement Inspire Career Expo today. It was a great opportunity for them to learn about in-demand jobs and interact with employers in the region.
