Students in the Difference Makers Club led circles during our teacher meeting this afternoon. The students shared with our teachers the impact they feel circles are having on our school community and ways we could improve their use. Very powerful!

Today Mrs. Loughran's US History classes participated in a Progressive Era Mixer.Students were assigned a different figure from the Progressive Era. They had to create business cards, a brief introduction, and find their allies and enemies from the era. They had a great time!

Today Mr. Deks Nordquist visited our Pre-1500 World History class to discuss the Crusades. He came dressed as a knight and talked about the types of armor and clothing worn during the Crusades and what life was like. A great way to bring history alive!
On Monday's we start each period with classroom circles. Each week we select a specific character trait to discuss, this week's is self-control. Circles are a great way to build relationships and strengthen our classroom community!
