Yesterday students in Mrs. Reinke's Weight Training class had the opportunity to visit the Mercy Healthplex in Anderson and take part in Body Pump Class. We appreciate Mercy welcoming our students and sharing their resources with our students!
Students in Mr. Tabor's Military History Class built working trebuchets after learning about how they were used in historical battles.
This morning Allyn Gum, Evelyn Young, and Dakota Brown participated in the Batavia Rotary Club's 4 Way Test Speech Contest. They did an amazing job and represented CNE extremely well! Allyn was selected to represent the Rotary Club at the Southwest District Speech Contest!
The Difference Makers Club placed a whiteboard in the Cafeteria to spark discussion among the students. The first question they posed built off today's classroom circle topic - Is it okay to disagree? Below are a few of their responses.
Every Monday we start our classes with circles focused on a specific topic. Today's topic was healthy disagreements. Mr. Thompson and Mr. Wells decided to bring their classes together and had an amazing discussion!

The Boys Basketball Team will compete in the Sectional Tournament tonight at Princeton High School at 6pm. The Rockets will be facing off against the Silver Knights of Summit Country Day. Admission is $7, $6 presale tickets are available at the HS until 3pm.
The next meeting of the Difference Makers will be on Wednesday after school. All students are welcome to join us!
