Just a reminder that tomorrow is the Senior Cap & Gown Parade. Seniors should arrive with their Caps & Gowns by 9:40a, the parade will start at 10a. The Senior Picnic will follow the parade. Seniors are not permitted to decorate their Caps or Gowns.

Mr. Taktak took a group of students to Deltec Inc to learn about the work they do and the opportunities available to students once they graduate. We truly appreciate the employees of Deltec for taking the time to talk to our students!




The Order of the Eastern Arrow presented Tiffany Drewry with a scholarship to help further her education in college this morning. We truly appreciate all the community organizations that support our Seniors with scholarships each year!


Tonight the members of the Competition Cheer Squad were recognized by the Board of Education as the Moment of Excellence. In April, the team competed in the Florida Cheer Finals where they were named National School Grand Champions. Congratulations to the team!


This afternoon we held an Academic Signing Ceremony for Seniors who plan to further their education and training at a college, trade school, or in the military. Congratulations to all the members of the Class of 2023 and good luck with your future endeavors!


Today the students in our Choir had the opportunity to interact and collaborate with Batavia High School's Choir. Thanks to Mrs. Blasing and the Batavia HS staff for organizing the experience!


Ms. Salzl took a group of her Art students to the Cincinnati Art Museum today. It was a great opportunity for the students to see pieces and techniques they had studied in class.




Our seniors have a nice place to enjoy their lunches on beautiful days thanks to a generous donation from Scott Doughman, CNE Class of 1989. We are incredibly grateful for Mr. Doughman's support of our students! #RocketPride


Here is Senior Scotty Williams operating the school's CNC Milling Machine. As part of his work in Mr. Taktak's class, Scotty designed a part on the computer and instructed the milling machine to produce it.


Thank you to the Live Oaks JROTC Instructors and Cadets for speaking to our students about their program. CNE was lucky enough to be awarded a program for the upcoming school year. The Live Oaks cadets did an outstanding job talking about their program and encouraging our students to become involved next school year.
Any CNE student interested in participating in our JROTC Program next school year can sign up in the Guidance Office.





Thank you to Merchants National Bank for speaking to our seniors about the importance of financial literacy today. An incredibly important skill as they prepare to graduate and are planning for their futures.


The FFA Officers did an outstanding job leading tonight's FFA Banquet. Congratulations to all who were recognized! CNE is incredibly lucky to have such a valuable program that showcases our students' talents.





Each year the students at Live Oaks recognize their favorite teachers from their "home schools". This year Junior Sam Morgan nominated Ms. Vonderahe. Congratulations to Ms. V. for being selected as the Live Oaks Favorite Affiliate School Teacher for CNE!

Students in Mrs. Stegemann's Wellness class not only learn ways to keep their bodies healthy, today they learned ways to keep their cars healthy. A special thanks to Mr. Taktak for his automotive knowledge.


The Marching Rockets are hosting a fundraiser on Thursday (4/6) at Texas Roadhouse in Milford. A portion of all sales will be donated to the band.

The FFA organized an "Ag Day" for Elementary students today. The High School FFA members showed off their animals and tractors and shared their love of FFA with the younger students.
