What would the students be surprised to find out about you?  I enjoy decorating sugar cookies.

What are some pets you’ve had or would like to own? We have a green cheek conure now.  His name is Ollie and he is so fun to watch play.

What is your dream vacation?  My dream vacation is to travel the world and see all the cities and places I have read about in history and in books.

How do you spend your summer breaks?  Spending time with my family and traveling to new places.  One of my goals is to visit all 50 states.  I think I have 16 states left.

What makes a ‘good day’ at school? Knowing that I have helped students emotionally and academically.

How do you show your school spirit? Being proud of where I work. 

What accomplishment fills you with pride so far this year?  Getting students to code Ozobots.  We have just started coding and the students are enjoying the new learning.

How do you keep things fresh? Going to classes, seminars, reading up on new ideas, researching new ideas.

What inspires you?  Reading or seeing children and adults overcoming adversities.

If you could take the students on a field trip to anywhere in the world, where would you take them?  California to see Pixar in action

What kind of driver were you when you first got your license?  I was (and still am) a very cautious driver.

What is your first memory from school?  Riding the bus home from Kindergarten when I was 5.  I lost my balance when the bus driver opened the doors and I rolled right out of the bus onto the road!
