LunchBox
Dear Parent,
Clermont Northeastern Schools is pleased to announce the implementation of a "New Cafeteria Point Of Sale System".
It will provide additional services to students and parents in the following ways:
Students will now have food service accounts, which permit lunches to be paid in advance. Kids carry less money; there are less financial transactions, and lines move faster.
Those students receiving free and reduced lunches will be transparent, as very little money will be handled in the line from any student.
In time, parents will have the ability to pay for lunches on the web, with checks and credit cards; see what their child is eating, and even restrict what they eat.
Other benefits will be the schools ability to perform nutritional analysis to ensure the healthiest possible foods, expedite free and reduced application, and many other abilities.
To utilize these above features, Clermont Northeastern School must use a method of uniquely identifying each child. We will be doing this by using student look-up, or by fingerprint scanning . We have decided that the easiest, most efficient way to determine each student is by utilizing the fingerprint scanning method (click here for a detailed explanation of the fingerprint scanning). This is because it is the most secure and accurate way of linking your child to both their information and your money. If you are uncomfortable with the fingerprint scanning method, please communicate this to us. We will happily look up your child using their last name. This method is slower, but we are pleased to accommodate your wishes.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call 513-625-1544 or email Hoerth_t@cneschools.org
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Terri Hoerth
Food Service Director
