- To go on the field trip on May 19, you must turn in your permission slips to Ms. Kessler this week. You also must have an emergency medical form on file in the office.No permission slip, no medical form, no field trip for you.
- Attention Newspaper Staff, we will begin layout for this month's publications this week. Your articles need to be on the computer by the end of the week!
- Our high school has been included in Channel 5’s Cool School Profile. We will be featured on the 6 a.m hour news show on May 19th. Make sure to tune in!!
- Color Guard auditions will be May 20 at 5:00 p.m. Clinics for the auditions will be May 12, 14, 15, and 19 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the ECEC gym.
- Upcoming Freshman (current 8th graders) - Sign up now for the Freshman Kick-Off on August 15th. Click here for information and registration. .
- Tryouts for the 2008-2009 Basketball Dance Team will be Saturday, May 17 at 9:00 am. There will be a brief information meeting for anyone interested in trying out on Thursday, May 8 at 2:15 in the cafeteria. The tryout clinic will be Wednesday May 14, Thursday May 15, and Friday May 16 from 2:30 - 3:30. Anyone interested in trying out should sign up in the office.
- The University of Cincinnati's Economics Center is offering a FREE, three week summer program (Monday, June 16 through Thursday, July 3) for high school juniors and seniors. Students who complete the program will earn three (3) free, transferable college credits (Economics 101) from the University of Cincinnati. They need to submit a personal statement and a recommendation letter(s). Application deadline is May 16. Please see Mrs. Holmes in room 108 to get a form.
- ATTENTION SENIORS!! It is not too late to think about attending college after graduation. Paul Brinkman, our College Access Counselor, can help you with general questions about college, the admissions process, testing and financial aid. Paul is here every Tuesday from 7:00am to 2:30pm and is located in the conference room by the library. Stop by to see him or e-mail him at brinkman_p@cneschools.org
